Your 13-day Morocco tour from Tangier will start with a pickup from your accommodation, airport, or port. Nicknamed the "bride of the north," Tangier is where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Take some time to discover the charming highlights of Tangier, including the famous Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel for amazing views where the waters meet. Lunch at leisure. We hit the road to Chefchaouen via Tetouan and the stunning Rif Mountains. Enjoy a couple of panoramic stops en-route before arrival in the breathtaking 'blue town' Chefchaouen, where we will be checking into a hotel for our night.
Following breakfast, take a day to explore Chefchaouen, commonly referred to as the "Blue Pearl" of Morocco. Located in a small town nestled in the Rif Mountains, it is famous for its blue-and-white-washed buildings. Wander through the winding alleys of the medina, taking in views of the blue doors and lively markets, along with the authentic architecture. You will have some free time for lunch and to enjoy the serenity. Afternoon, trek to the Spanish Mosque for breathtaking blue-drenched panoramic view of the city. Later, relax and rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the same hotel.
Take your time this morning to explore the scenic streets of Chefchaouen. Then, we travel to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take an easeful walk into its well-preserved ruins, which reveal beautiful mosaics and ancient pillars that narrate stories of a bygone era. Later, proceed to Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Visit some key attractions, including Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We head towards Fes after Meknes sightseeing, where you will check into the authentic riad for your overnight stay.
Day four takes you to Fes, spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Your day will kick off with a visit to the Royal Palace Gate before embarking on a trip through the ancient medina, listed in UNESCO. Enter the maze-like streets from Bab Boujloud, also known as the Blue Gate; visit historical sites, among which are Medrasa Bouanania and Najjarine Fountain. Pay a visit to the oldest university in the world, Al-Qarawiyyin. Wander through traditional tanneries and artisans' workshops, afterward visiting the Mellah for a different feel of the city. We will reach Merzouga in the late afternoon, and then you will have a camel trekking adventure through the Sahara Desert. You will enjoy a wonderful view of the golden dunes and enjoy a fascinating sunset before retiring to an exclusive desert camp for the night, surrounded by Berber music in a star-lit sky.
Day six is devoted to the magnificent Merzouga region. Stop at an old mine of kohl, visit a nomadic family in the tent, and learn about their traditional way of life with a cup of Berber tea. Then, head to Khamlia village, where you will be able to enjoy an impressive show of Gnaoua music performed by locals. After lunch, take some time to explore the palm grove groves that surround this area and visit the wild lake of Merzouga, which is often inhabited by migrating flamingos. Finish off your day driving back to Merzouga for a quiet night at your hotel.

Overnight in Essaouira gives you time to take in refreshing coastal ambiance and relax by the sea.
After breakfast, continue along the scenic coastline towards Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, located on the Atlantic shore. The mosque’s intricate architecture and breathtaking ocean views make it one of the city’s top attractions. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Casablanca Corniche before heading to Rabat, the country’s capital, for an overnight stay.
