Tour Plan

Your Moroccan adventure starts with a pickup from either your hotel or the airport in Tangier. As you leave, catch the remarkable view of the Rif Mountains, with their swathes of lush green and dramatic landscapes. You will arrive in Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl of Morocco, to be greeted by its very charming medina, with buildings painted in blue and bustling markets. If you walk in the afternoon through narrow, winding streets, find local artisan shops, and get a glimpse into this universally quaint town. In the evening, have typical Moroccan dinner in a restaurant and retire to a cozy riad, where you can rest and be enveloped by the serenity.
You will leave for Fes after having a leisurely breakfast, one of the oldest and culturally diverse cities in Morocco. The drive is spectacular as it gradually takes you from the tranquility of Chefchaouen to the historical majesty of Fes. Arrive and check-in. Free time to relax. Later on, begin visiting the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Go for a leisurely walk in its maze-like streets, full of busy souks, old palaces, and wonderful architecture in every spot. Take part in the local colorful life and have a pleasant dinner at some traditional restaurant before retiring to your riad for comfortable overnight rest.
On this day, get ready for a picturesque drive into the Sahara Desert. Leave after breakfast in Fes, heading toward Ifrane, which is called the "Switzerland of Morocco" because of its ideally beautiful Alpine-style architecture and lush landscapes. Make a quick photo stop before continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with breathtaking views of cedar forests and rolling hills. Travel through the Ziz Valley, with its stunning palm groves and traditional kasbahs sprinkled throughout the landscape. From there, you will be taken to the village of Merzouga, where you switch to camels for the unforgettable trek across huge dunes. Later, at sunset, you will be taken to your luxury desert camp, where you will spend your night under a blanket of stars, enjoying traditional Berber music and a delicious dinner.
Now, get lost in the magic of the Merzouga Desert. Very early in the morning, you will be thrilled with a wonderful sunrise above the dunes-a moment which you will never forget. Once you have had breakfast at the camp, this is an opportunity to walk round, visit a nomadic family, or go on an extra 4x4 tour looking for the hidden treasures in the desert. In the afternoon, you will go on an excursion to the town of Rissani, an ancient city famous for its animated souk-where you can shop for local handicrafts and spices. Later in the day, drive back into the dunes to further explore them, including visiting the Todra Gorge and its amazing cliffs and special rock formations. Return to bivouac for another magical night in the desert.
On the last day, you quit the desert and head out to Marrakech. En-route stop in Ouarzazate, also called the "Gateway to the Desert". Visit the very famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO World Heritage site, and a backdrop for some of the most famous movies, including "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones". You will be able to walk around the ancient fortified village and get to know more about its history. Continue via breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, cross over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You will be arriving in Marrakech, checking into your accommodation, and then being free for the rest of the evening to do your own exploring: milling around lively streets in this imperial city, passing through bustling souks, catching the rhythm of every nook and cranny of this place.
