Other places you will visit are Rick's Café, inspired by the famous movie "Casablanca"; Mohamed V Square, otherwise known as Pigeons' Square, with its grand buildings and fountains. This will be according to your arrival time, and you may have some time to stretch your legs around the city or retire to a well-deserved rest before embarking on this adventure. Overnight in Casablanca, preparing for the next day.
Enjoy an appetizing breakfast and leave Casablanca, using the highway to Rabat-the kingdom's capital. Rabat is impregnated with history and charm. This is the city of grand monuments and beautiful gardens. Visit the imposing Hassan Tower, a minaret that was never completed back in the 12th century, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V with its stunning architecture, where the tombs of the Moroccan king and his two sons are kept. Next is the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a quiet quarter from which to gaze at the Atlantic Ocean and the mouth of the Bouregreg River. Continuing on, after lunch, drive north through the Rif Mountains and through the town of Ouazzane en route to the famous "Blue Pearl" of Chefchaouen.
